Job summary

PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) seeks a licensed Therapist to provide counseling to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. You will work autonomously while receiving strong clinical and administrative support from a dedicated team.

Requirements include state licensure in psychology, clinical counseling, or social work, with Monday–Friday daytime hours and physical stamina for the facility environment. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required.
• Ability to work in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
• Preference for independent, flexible, purpose-driven professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling to residents.
• Coordinate care with facility teams (Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Services).
• Adhere to state/federal guidelines and PGS protocols.
• Educate staff to support holistic, patient-centered care.
• Maintain timely documentation.
