Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Your focus is to support the care team, monitor wellbeing, contribute to care planning, and assist with medications while supervising staff and acting as a primary contact for residents and families. DBS check and UK work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude toward supporting residents and staff.
• Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and note changes to care plans.
• Be involved in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and professionals; escalate concerns.
