Job summary

Roseville Care Center in Roseville, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role. Starting pay is $65.00 per hour, DOE, with a focus on improving residents’ communication, cognition, and swallowing safety within a collaborative team.

You will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, and work with families and staff to implement and monitor treatment. A strong interdisciplinary approach and clinical mentoring may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required for licensure.
• Master's or doctoral degree preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and computer applications.
• Experience with Net Health and PointClickCare preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine SLP needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapies addressing communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on goals and maintenance.
• Supervise CFYs and students when applicable.
