Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate residents per physician orders and set care goals.
• Diagnose and treat swallowing, speech, language, or voice disorders.
• Create individual or group therapy activities.
• Educate staff, family, and caregivers as needed.
• Document progress and maintain records in EMR.
• Attend care planning meetings and report on patient status.
• Identify needs for program development and implement changes.
• Coordinate staff in-services for safe patient care.
