The role focuses on evaluating and treating swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, delivering evidence-based therapies, and collaborating with a care team to ensure patient-centered outcomes.

The position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, and a current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in speech-language pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
• Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Set treatment goals and develop individualized SLP treatment programs.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated care team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plans of care.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with a functional-based treatment approach.
