Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services seeks a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents in senior living settings. The role emphasizes individualized care, private treatment sessions, and functional-based therapies to improve quality of life.

You will work Monday–Friday with no weekends, participate in care planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver rehabilitative services across facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
• The ability to individualize treatment sessions!
