Job summary
Shelby Oaks Post Acute in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead clinical care, assess residents, and develop personalized care plans. You will administer medications, coordinate treatments, and monitor progress to maintain high quality, compassionate care.
You will collaborate with the Station Manager and RN Nurse Supervisor to plan staffing, supervise CNAs on each shift, ensure safety standards, document incidents, and support a warm, respectful environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in state of employment.
- CPR certification.
- Experience in sub-acute care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist Station Manager and RN Nurse Supervisor in determining staffing needs.
- Ensure sufficient CNAs for each tour to meet daily nursing care needs.
- Develop work assignments and schedule duty hours.
- Make daily rounds to ensure CNAs meet nursing standards.
- Monitor absenteeism and report issues to supervisors.
- Review grievances and report to Nurse Supervisor as needed.
- Create a warm, personal, calm environment on your station.
- Meet CNAs regularly to identify and correct issues and improve care.
- Report occupational exposures per facility policies.
