Sinceri Senior Living in McMinnville, Oregon, is seeking a Resident Assistant to join its compassionate team. You will assist residents with daily activities, provide personal care, and foster meaningful social interaction while upholding safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with elderly in residential/long-term care preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• May be required to pass CPR, First Aid, Food Handler tests per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care assistance.
• Respond to resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance as necessary.
• Assist in the dining room during resident meal times.
• Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activities and outings, and assist with those activities as needed.
• Assist in the cleanliness of the community, including straightening beds, removing trash, and tidying rooms daily and as needed.
• Assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines.
