Job summary

DiningRD is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an Assisted Living Community to perform quarterly onsite visits (4 hours per visit) focusing on food safety audits, dining observations, and nutrition referrals for high-risk residents. The role emphasizes improving senior nutrition in a supportive consulting environment.

You will collaborate with the clinical team, provide nutrition education, and help ensure regulatory compliance while enjoying a flexible schedule and access to a nationwide RD

Qualifications

• CDR credentials required.
• State License if required by state.
• 2 years of consulting experience preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to coach and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meals meet high nutritional standards by working with the clinical team.
• Monitor nutritional needs of residents and provide nutrition education as needed.
• Assist with MDS and formulating nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
• Support policy development and training for dining staff and managers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; monitor the implementation of nutrition care systems.
