Job summary

Arbor Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation in Quitman, Texas seeks a market-facing professional to build referral source relationships with hospitals, clinics and senior-service organizations. Your effort will grow census and quality mix by developing the market and guiding prospective residents and families to the center.

Lead external sales with a focus on expanding referral networks, understanding local industry trends, and reporting marketing activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare or related business preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience targeting physicians, hospital personnel, and case managers.
• Proven success in developing referrals for medical products from healthcare targets.
• Local referral network to develop referrals.
• Professional image, self-confidence, enthusiasm, assertiveness and a desire to succeed.
• Team player with ability to work internally and externally.
• Experience with local community groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by meeting or exceeding census goals.
• Expand community base and develop referral relationships with hospitals, rehabs, and senior-service organizations.
• Understand local industry trends to represent and differentiate the company in the market.
• Accurately generate required reports and documentation of marketing activity on schedule.
• Utilize company resources to ensure ROI on marketing efforts.
• Develop marketing plan and budget with VP of Business Development with measurable goals.
• Develop relationships with a growing base of referral sources to ensure steady referrals to the center (external sales focus).
• Identify new referral sources and expand targets to achieve census objectives.
• Other duties may be assigned.
