Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide individualized therapy and counseling for seniors in long-term care communities. You will partner with care teams to support residents' emotional well-being and improve quality of life.

The role requires travel to and from assigned facilities, with a focus on compassionate, person-centered care and adherence to state and federal guidelines. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Current state licensure to practice independently (Ph.D./Psy.D., LCSW/LISW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT).
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, assessment, and therapeutic skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted resource for residents through psychological assessments and personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, and related conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff for integrated care.
• Respond to crises with immediate intervention and support.
• Maintain confidential records and follow ethical guidelines.
