Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide individualized therapy and counseling for seniors in long-term care communities. You will support residents’ dignity, quality of life, and connection, partnering with care teams to deliver holistic, person-centered care.

Travel to assigned facilities is required; a valid driver's license and auto insurance may be needed in the future. Curana Health values compassion, collaboration, and high-quality care for older adults.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice independently as Psychologist (Ph.D/Psy.D.), LCSW/LISW, LMHC, LPC, or LMFT.
• Experience in mental health, preferably in geriatric or long-term care settings.
• Strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted resource for residents through psychological assessments and personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, and cognitive changes using evidence-based methods.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure integrated care.
• Respond to crises with prompt intervention and support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with ethical guidelines.
• Navigate electronic medical records with accuracy.
