Job summary

The Ivy Thornton, a premier Oakmont Senior Living community in Thornton, CO, is seeking a Care Provider to support residents with daily living and independence. You will assist with ADLs, monitor wellbeing, and ensure a safe, respectful environment in line with our mission and values.

No prior experience required; we train the right candidate. Must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass background/health screenings. This is a FT/PT/PRN role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with coworkers.
