Job summary

The Ivy Thornton, managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. You will help residents maintain independence and dignity within a caring, compliant team environment.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, prompt resident support, and safe care provision, with emphasis on respect, safety, and confidentiality in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For health and safety of our team members and residents, vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living as per the care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, continence).
• Respond promptly while preserving residents' dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Report any change in condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and departments.
