Job summary

Sampson County Senior Services is seeking two RNs to collaboratively support senior citizens enrolled in our Adult Day Care Program. The roles involve providing care, education, and program support during the center's Monday–Friday hours (7:30 AM–4:30 PM), with each position capped at 19 hours per week.

Applicants must hold an NC RN license. Experience with seniors, dementia, and disabilities is preferred. Employment is with Sampson County as an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the State of North Carolina is required.
• Experience working with seniors, including those with cognitive impairments such as dementia, is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate skilled support for senior citizens with personal, social, and health needs.
• Collaborate with staff, family members, and other service providers to develop and implement client service plans.
• Plan and provide educational programs for clients, caregivers, and elderly people in the community.
• Administer medical-related services and treatments to clients.
• Assist with meals, daily activities, and programs as required.
• Assist with administrative tasks to satisfy Medicaid, state funding, and agency requirements.
