Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a mission-driven Physician to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You’ll build strong relationships with facility staff and mentor APPs to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO graduate from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current unrestricted medical license in the employing state.
• Active DEA license.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Willingness to travel to multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care with history and physicals on new patients; conduct routine rounding (minimum once per week).
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits; ensure compliance and clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance; mentor and support care delivery across the team.
• Close quality gaps; drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and uphold Curana Health’s mission and values.
• Represent Curana Health as a clinical leader and ambassador in the communities served.
