Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Whiskey Rd to support our assisted living residents on weekends. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and help residents stay engaged. Ideal candidates have a caring heart, a high school diploma or GED, and CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
CPR/First Aid, preferred.
Must be flexible and prepared to work weekends and holidays.
Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports residents by providing companionship, supportive listening, and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
Reports changes in health and status and completes daily data sheets to record progress.
Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
Light housekeeping and laundry.
Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
