Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support residents at The Barclay at Midlothian in a full-time or part-time capacity. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help residents remain engaged in memory care and wellness programs.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and flexibility to work mornings or evenings, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on delivering dignified care to older adults in a resort-style setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement. Minimum of 40 hours Personal Care Aide Training.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
