Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Active State Medical License or ability to obtain one.
• Board certification in related field preferred; board eligibility required.
• Current DEA number for controlled substances.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for older adults with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Take accountability for patient care outcomes and coordinate with specialists.
• Engage hospitalists when patients are hospitalized and lead care teams.
• Recruit patients and practice expansion with center/market leadership.
• Collaborate with APPs and ensure compliance with guidelines.
