Job summary

Milestone Retirement Communities in Auburn, CA is seeking compassionate Care Partners to support residents with daily living needs in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will provide personal care, assist with meals, and communicate important changes in residents’ conditions to the Health & Wellness team to ensure safety and high-quality, individualized care every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year caregiving experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and complete documentation accurately
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet health requirements including TB testing
• Certifications as required by state

Responsibilities

• Follow resident service plans in a friendly, respectful, and supportive manner
• Document changes in resident condition per policy and state requirements
• Support quality improvement by identifying issues and communicating them to leadership
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines
• Promote a safe environment and report unsafe actions
• Report elder maltreatment or abuse as required
• Communicate effectively with Care Partners regarding resident needs
• Assist with meal service including serving, clearing, and dining room cleanliness
• Foster teamwork and positive interactions with residents, families, and coworkers
• Perform other duties as assigned
