Job summary

Normandy Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our compassionate senior care team. You will administer medications under supervision, perform essential resident care tasks, and ensure safety and accuracy in medication handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Valid CMT certification in Missouri required.
• Six months long-term care experience preferred.
• Maintain a working email and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to respond decisively in emergencies.
• Clear communication in English; additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician under nurse supervision.
• Follow the five rights of medication administration.
• Record medications given and enter data into the facility system.
• Notify licensed staff if resident reports pain.
• Take and record vital signs as required by medications.
• Observe and report adverse reactions to a licensed nurse.
• Support resident safety and quality care; perform other duties as assigned.
