Qualifications

• Active CMT and CNA certifications in Missouri; both licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Performs resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to safety and comfort.
• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintains knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Records medications given to residents.
• Notifies licensed staff when a resident reports pain.
• Takes and records vital signs as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in resident condition.
• Responds to resident call lights and anticipates needs.
• Ensures safe medication administration and reduces risk of errors.
• Supports safety and quality in daily care.
