Columbia Cottage is seeking experienced Medication Technicians / Caregivers to improve residents' quality of life in a warm, home-like setting in Linglestown, PA. The role starts at $18/hour with benefits and requires evening shifts, with every other weekend and holiday commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medication Technician certification (required).
• Diabetes training.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in assisted living, senior care, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications according to physician orders
• Assist residents with taking medications safely and effectively
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects
• Document all medication administration in MAR accurately
• Obtain vital signs, blood glucose, and other ordered measurements
• Provide encouragement, education, and emotional support to residents
• Deliver hands-on care and assist with daily living activities
