Job summary

Columbia Cottage – Palmyra, PA is seeking a Medication Technician / Caregiver to join our team. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with shift differentials and flexible part-time scheduling.

Responsibilities include administering medications, supervising residents’ intake, monitoring effects, and documenting in MAR. Required are a high school diploma, Medication Technician certification, diabetes training, CPR/First Aid, and healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medication Technician certification required.
• Diabetes training required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Experience in assisted living, senior care, or healthcare preferred.

• Prepare and administer medications according to physician orders.
• Assist residents with taking medications safely and effectively.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Document all medication administration in MAR accurately.
• Obtain vital signs, blood glucose, and other ordered measurements.
• Provide encouragement, education, and emotional support to residents.
• Deliver hands-on care and assist with daily living activities.

Available Shifts

• Night 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

All positions include every other weekend and holiday requirement unless otherwise noted
