Job summary

Stoney Brook of Belton is seeking dedicated individuals for Part-Time & Full-Time Resident Medication Tech roles. You will assist in residents' care, administer medications as prescribed, and support independence with dignity.

Responsibilities include documenting care, monitoring responses to treatment, and maintaining medication supply areas. A routine background check is required, and state CMA certification is preferred. 4K Housing enhances employee benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
• Certified Medication Aide preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read & write English.
• Must be willing to undergo a routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Monitors residents' responses to treatment plans and notifies supervisor of any issues.
• Follows infection control policies related to medication administration.
• Maintains accurate resident medication records and documentation.
• Assists residents with medication management and self-administration as applicable.
• Counts controlled substances with supervisor and ensures accuracy of counts.
• Supports teamwork and cooperative interactions with staff.
