Job summary

Stoney Brook of Hewitt is seeking a Resident Medication Tech to continue our compassionate care for residents. As a Resident Medication Aide, you will assist in medications and care, treating each resident with respect and dignity, and recognizing individual needs to encourage independence.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience.
• Certified Medication Aide preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• High School diploma or GED; English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician while monitoring responses.
• Maintains resident records daily and documents changes in condition per policy.
• Adheres to infection control policies related to medication administration.
• Supervises residents who self-administer medication and assists with medication procedures.
• Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.
