Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a qualified CNA Medication Aide to support residents with medication administration and daily care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. You will collaborate with the Charge Nurse and health services leadership to uphold high standards of care and safety.

The role includes documentation, monitoring for side effects, and performing RA duties as needed, with potential alignment to the CNA responsibilities within the facility.

Qualifications

• Current Level 1 Medication Aide Certification in the state of practice.
• Current Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) certification in the state of practice.
• High School diploma or GED required or three to six months related experience.
• Must have successfully completed an approved course in medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers and documents medication as defined by the State approved CMA curriculum and under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Observes residents for side effects, interactions and implications of common medications.
• Performs all Resident Assistant (RA) duties as needed or when directed.
• May perform all duties outlined in the Evertrue CNA job description.
