Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant to support residents with medication administration and daily living tasks under RN supervision in an assisted living setting. The CMA will ensure accurate medication handling and documentation while maintaining resident safety.

The role includes supervising CHHAs/CNAs, updating MARs, and assisting with ADLs, meal prep, and light housekeeping to uphold quality care standards in housing programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and CNA/CHHA certification.
• 1 year CNA/CHHA experience preferred.
• Medication administration training and competency test required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication administration under RN supervision.
• Supervise CHHAs and CNAs and ensure care plans are followed.
• Review narcotic counts and document MARs.
• Provide light housekeeping and ADL assistance as needed.
• Coordinate with nurses and MDs for resident care and appointments.
