Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support to residents, while maintaining a safe, home-like environment. The role blends daily living assistance with medication-related tasks and teamwork with nursing staff.

The position emphasizes observation, documentation, and compassionate interaction, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift, checking on them and ensuring a safe, home-like environment.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions, including skin, weight, dietary intake and activity participation.
• Respond to resident calls and notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if needs increase.
• Assist with continence management and proper sanitation of resident suites and restrooms.
• Assist with meals, serve and collect trays, report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; practice hygiene and safety.
