Crystal Care Homes (2) Limited in Bourne, MA is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support residents and lead the care team. You will be trusted with medication administration, reviewing care plans and guiding less experienced colleagues to ensure the highest standard of care.

Join a busy home where no two days are the same. You will act as a key worker, monitor wellbeing, liaise with health professionals, and help with meals, confidentiality and safety.

Competenze

• Holds, or is working towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience as a Care Assistant in residential or nursing environments.
• Confident administering medication and maintaining records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues.
• Demonstrates compassion, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Can work effectively in a busy team and stay calm under pressure.
• Is committed to delivering exceptional resident care daily.

Mansioni

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's needs and preferences.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents, ensuring care plans are implemented and reviewed.
• Safely administer medication and maintain accurate medication records.
• Review, update and contribute to individual care plans for optimum support.
• Mentor, support and lead less experienced care team members.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing, report changes, and maintain records.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, relatives and colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity for every resident.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and related legislation.
• Support residents with meals and hydration, promoting independence.
• Assist with light housekeeping to keep a clean, safe environment.
