Job summary

Crystal Care Collection seeks a Care Manager to lead the home in Bourne, MA, delivering person-centred care and high-quality services. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive safe operations and excellent resident outcomes.

The role focuses on mentoring the care team, monitoring care delivery, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Previous leadership experience in residential, nursing or healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting CQC inspections and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with day-to-day leadership and operation of the home.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
• Monitor and evaluate care delivery, ensuring residents' needs are met through high-quality, individualised care plans.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Social Care legislation, CQC standards and company policies and procedures.
• Conduct supervisions, appraisals and performance management conversations to support colleague development.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and ongoing training to build and retain a high-performing team.
• Monitor staffing levels and support effective rota planning to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to audits, action plans and service development.
• Promote a positive culture where compassion, dignity and respect are at the heart of everything we do.
