Job summary

LakePointe Senior Care and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to manage linen processing, washing, folding, and distribution for our residents. You will operate laundry equipment, maintain clean work areas, and deliver fresh linen to units with care.

The role offers afternoons/evenings hours (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) on a full-time basis, with rotating weekends and some holidays. Prior long-term care experience is preferred and a team-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a long-term care, nursing home environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
• Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
• Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.
