Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Laundry Aide for a long-term care facility in Illinois. The role involves transporting soiled linen, operating industrial laundry machines, sorting and loading washes, loading dry cycles, folding linens, and distributing resident clothing. You will also maintain equipment and spaces, adhere to policies, and monitor stock levels.

Both full-time and part-time hours are available, with day and evening shifts to fit varied schedules in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers of soiled linen
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sort and load soiled linens into washers
• Load clean wet linens into dryers
• Fold linens and distribute resident personal clothing
• Maintain laundry equipment and laundry areas
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Check stock and notify supervisor of needs

Come be a part of real change! As a Laundry Aide, you will pay a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in our long-term care facility. In this role, you will transport laundry containers of soiled linen, operate commercial washing machines and dryers, sort and load soiled linens into washers, and load clean wet linens into dryers, folding linens, distributing resident personal clothing to their rooms/closets, maintain laundry equipment and laundry areas, follows all company policies and procedures, checks stock and notifies supervisor of any needs.
