Job summary

Happier At Home – Northeast Iowa seeks compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in maintaining independence and quality of life. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and appointments, while documenting observations for the care team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient caregiver with a desire to help seniors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction with seniors.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and fall prevention.
• accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
