Happier At Home – Northeast Iowa is seeking an in-home senior caregiver to support aging adults in safe, comfortable homes with meaningful connections. You will provide companionship, assist with daily care, prepare meals, and help with mobility while maintaining clear communication with the care team.

We offer starting pay of $16-$18 per hour, mileage reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment to help you build rewarding relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
