Job summary

Happier At Home – Northeast Iowa is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in maintaining independence and quality of life. You will provide companionship and assist with daily activities in clients' homes, building trusting relationships and ensuring safety.

Starting pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour with mileage reimbursement. Flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment help you balance life and work while making a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
