Job summary

Apple Rehab Colchester is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the safe, efficient operation of all building systems. You will supervise the maintenance staff, coordinate with outside vendors, and ensure compliance with safety and fire/disaster plans.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budget adherence, and maintaining documentation for preventive maintenance, testing, and reporting, while ensuring resident safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English and follow safety instructions.
• Experience in maintaining plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient operations of building systems.
• Supervise Maintenance Assistant and coordinate with outside vendors.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance schedules, tests and compliance.
• Plan work schedules and monitor supplies and budget adherence.
