Job summary

Penick Village in Southern Pines, NC is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)/Kitchen Manager to lead our Healthcare Dining Services team. This role oversees daily operations, ensures high food quality, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction, while fostering a positive team culture.

Collaborating with the RD and interdisciplinary team, you will manage menu planning, diets, and safety programs, while supervising staff and ensuring efficient service in a healthcare

Qualifications

• Graduate of Dietary Manager's Course (2-year or 4-year program) and successful completion of the CDM exam.
• Two years of experience in food service management, preferably in healthcare.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Ability to lead Dining Services while ensuring regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Healthcare Dining Services and supervise staff.
• Plan menus, respond to client preferences, and manage dietary needs.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and adherence to regulations.
• Collaborate with RD and IDT to support residents' nutritional health.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and inventory to optimize costs.
