Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for residents and staff.

The role requires basic kitchen safety, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to dietary requirements and cleanliness standards. Training will be provided, with opportunities for career development within HCSG.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and serving in a kitchen.
• Strong communication and guest service skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
