Job summary

The Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) is a PACE organization delivering comprehensive care for older adults in the San Leandro area. The Personal Care Attendant I provides in-home or day-center support according to each participant’s care plan under PACE regulations.

Pay ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience and market data, with a focus on safety, independence, and quality of life for the elderly in the CEI program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and IADL to support participants.
• Provide safe transfers using DME as required.
• Escort participants to CEI vans when needed.
• Document services provided in the electronic health record.
