Job summary

Active Day in Kentucky is seeking a Center Director to lead an adult day health center, directing team operations, ensuring the highest quality care, and guiding strategic planning, programming, and fiscal oversight.

You will manage staff, develop partnerships with families and providers, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a compassionate, collaborative culture that enhances member well-being and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in a health care related field; degree preferred unless otherwise mandated by state-specific regulatory guidelines.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred unless otherwise mandated by state-specific regulatory guidelines.
• Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred.
• Strong collaborative, interpersonal, organization, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership in all areas of operations including person-centered care initiatives, personnel management, quality and safety, programming, community relations, and financial oversight.
• Grow the business through a solid community network and active referral base; communicate service offerings and program benefits.
• Coordinate with caregivers, families, social services agencies, and medical professionals to develop effective care plans for members.
• Facilitate continuous improvement processes to enhance member experience and quality of care according to guidelines.
• Oversee onboarding, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, performance reviews and employee relations to maintain a respectful, collaborative culture.
• Responsible for admissions and discharges of members.
• Collaborate with Regional Director on strategic analysis of P&L, budget, census, and operating expenses.
• Stay current on industry knowledge through opportunities and professional organizations.
• Comply with company policies, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
