Job summary

Active Day seeks a dynamic Home Care Director to lead and grow our Home Care operations. You will partner with senior leadership to set strategic goals, oversee multiple regions, and ensure quality, compliance, and growth while building strong relationships with communities served.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in health care leadership, solid regulatory knowledge, and proven ability to drive performance and staff development across branches. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a health care setting, managing in Home Care preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in community based health care setting in a similar role at a medium to large sized, multi-site organization preferred.
• Budgeting and P/L management.
• Marketing /Sales/ Community Relations experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of regulatory affairs.
• Strong technology skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; adept at learning new software programs.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
• High impact communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Self starter; able to prioritize, meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to influence across functions.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and implement solutions collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee home care operations and growth across multiple regions.
• Develop and monitor the annual business plan and budget; allocate funds for operation and capital expenditures.
• Drive growth metrics: admissions, referrals, recruitment, and employee engagement.
• Ensure staffing through effective hiring practices and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with sales/marketing to achieve referrals and growth targets.
• Develop best practices and lead performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and managed care terms.
• Oversee day-to-day operations focusing on risk management and staff training.
• Conduct internal audits, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Design quality improvement systems to achieve deficiency-free audits.
• Coordinate region-wide training to enhance staff competencies.
• Maintain compliance with laws governing business operations.
