Job summary

Chateau Retirement is seeking a Driver to provide reliable transportation for residents and support the care community. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and attention to resident needs in a compassionate environment.

Your responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, keeping the vehicle clean, and ensuring first aid readiness. Prior elderly care experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is required or Chateau will fund training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL-C with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive up to 2 hours for resident transportation.
• Experience with elderly care preferred; CPR/First Aid certification required or training provided by Chateau.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled transportation for residents.
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Stock and maintain the first aid kit and on-board emergency information sheets.
• Report vehicle concerns to the Life Enrichment Director and Executive Director.
