Job summary

VIPCARE in Ocala, FL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care for patients 65+. The APRN will perform physical exams, interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans under physician supervision, with a focus on 5-star patient care and outcomes.

Role requires current NP licensure, ACLS/BLS, and prior EMR experience. The position is full-time, on-site, with collaborative care across clinical teams and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Certified as a nurse practitioner with current state licensure.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Ability to provide 5 Star service in line with VIPCARE mission.
• Strong clinical assessment and management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Practice medicine under supervision of a physician with sound medical judgment.
• Provide care for older adults with acute and chronic illness.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and other clinicians to ensure quality care.
• Maintain complete and accurate EMR documentation within 48 hours.
• Ensure compliance with Accrediting Agency, HIPAA, CLIA, safety regulations.
• Engage in patient education and care coordination.
