Job summary

Better Health Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care for patients 65+ under physician supervision. The APRN will evaluate, diagnose, and plan treatment while coordinating with the care team.

Qualified candidates will hold current NP certification and Florida licensure, possess EMR proficiency, and demonstrate strong patient communication and teaching skills. ACLS/BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Nurse practitioner with current state licensure and APRN certification.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience and 1–3 years as a primary care NP.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems.
• Provide 5-star service in line with Better Health Group's mission.
• ACLS/BLS certification required as mandated by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care under physician supervision with sound medical judgment and adherence to ethical standards.
• Care for older adults with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document care plans and patient progress in the EMR within 48 hours of visits.
• Maintain complete and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and CLIA.
