Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Jericho, NY is seeking a Resident Services Aide for a 7 am to 3 pm, full-time, on-site role. You will provide hands-on care and companionship to residents, support daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment.

We offer a team-oriented workplace. Requirements include a CNA/HHA/PCA credential, English proficiency, and compassion for older adults.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide credential required.
Must be able to speak and read English.
Experience with geriatric population preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
Maintain patient, respectful and gentle interaction with residents.
Weekend shifts required (one weekend shift per week).

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
Support residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing.
Follow policies and procedures and the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
