Job summary

The role requires at least 1 year as an Activity Director, CPR/BLS, and COVID-19 vaccination, with preference for long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Requires demonstrated work experience as an Activity Director.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.

• Experience in skilled-nursing/long-term care setting.
• Ability to build rapport with residents.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains an effective room visit program, with documentation as needed.
• Maintains a room visit cart with activity equipment and supplies.
• Ensures monthly, seasonal, and holiday events with decorations, newsletters, calendars, announcements to promote residents' quality of life.
• Assigns activities and documents on MDSs, care plans, and quarterly notes for care plan reviews.
• Interviews and evaluates each resident and family to tailor meaningful programs.
• Other duties may be assigned.
