Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for the Cardiovascular portfolio in the U.S. The role centers on delivering clinical knowledge to medical professionals, promoting products, and managing a territory with a patient-focused, ethical approach.

Responsibilities include driving branded messages, building and maintaining accounts, and collaborating with the District Manager to achieve sales targets while ensuring access and appropriate reimbursement where

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not sales related OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not sales related OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not sales related.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals and assist with payer navigation.
• Deliver on marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Build relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Develop territory plans in partnership with the District Manager and share best practices across the team.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and maintain patient-focused messaging throughout the sales cycle.
