Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative in the United States to connect with medical professionals, promote products, and navigate the payer landscape in cardiovascular areas.

The role targets establishing strong territory relationships, delivering education, and meeting sales targets within a dynamic, hybrid work environment. Relocation is not offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales or clinical healthcare experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR HS diploma with 8 years in sales/clinical
• Preferred: 3+ years pharma/biotech/medical device sales; oncology, nephrology, dermatology, cardiology, or related fields

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and promote Amgen products through programs and educational events.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance, and develop territory plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
