Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Cardiovascular/Vascular Ultrasound Supervisor to oversee adult pediatric imaging teams, scheduling, and education within the HVI system. The role focuses on protocol development, staff leadership, and ensuring high-quality imaging practices.

The position requires active ARDMS/CCI certification(s), BLS within 30 days, and 7 years of related ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Certification in ONE of the ARDMS options.
• Through CCI: RVS/RCCS/RCS option.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Supervises adult and pediatric cardiac and vascular sonographers.
• Supervises surgical schedulers for Heart and Vascular Imaging Services.
• Manages personnel to ensure a cohesive team to meet patient care needs.
• Performs performance appraisals and provides feedback to Manager.
• Develops and maintains imaging protocols and diagnostic criteria.
